Cubarsi showed no nerves on his European debut and became the first Barcelona player, per Opta, to complete 50+ passes (61/68), 100% of his tackles (3/3) and make 5+ clearances to break a club record that has stood since the 2003-04 season. Moreover, he also became the youngest player to debut at 17 years 50 days in the Champions League knockout stages, beating Real Madrid's David Alaba's record of 17 years 258 days for Bayern Munich.
